Clinical Quality
The Clinical Quality team at NMPCA is dedicated to advancing quality improvement and driving systems-level change across New Mexico’s Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). We provide training, technical assistance, and ongoing support to help health centers enhance care delivery at all levels and meet HRSA requirements. Our work includes data aggregation, hosting Patient Experience Survey distribution, emergency preparedness support, performance improvement, and the integration of evidence-based practices across care settings. Key focus areas include:
- Supporting Health Center Accreditation efforts (TJC, AAAHC, NQCA)
- Coordinating patient experience surveys on behalf of health centers and aggregating results for system wide insight
- Chronic Disease Prevention, Screening, and Management Strategies
- Special Population services and outreach programs
- Offer UDS report insights and clinical comparisons to assist health centers track progress and identify opportunities for improvement
Clinical Quality staff provide Training and Technical Assistance through ongoing networking meetings with FQHCs, fostering shared learning and best practices:
- Clinical Performance Improvement Committee (CPIC) Meeting
- Medical Director/Lead Provider Group Meeting
- Dental Provider Group Meeting
- Behavioral Health Provider Group Meeting
- Emergency Preparedness Group Meeting
- Annual HRSA/NMPCA UDS Virtual (or in-person) Training
